The most common question I'm asked is if any of my books will be made into a movie. I believe there are deveral reasons why that will never happen.

The first is that none of my main characters have the dark pasts or serious flaws that Hollywood demands. And even if they did want to make a film version, I'm sure they'd want to to give the characters fhose flaws which I would never allow to happen. My books also have a strong, masculine hero which is now a Hollywood no--no. Another reason is the length and complexity of the plots which is also part of my answer to the next question.

How many people read my books?

I esrimate that number to be between 50-60,000. AndI the demographics are quite intersting. More than 80% are over sixty years old while less than 5% are under thirty.. The reason for the dispartiy is partly beause young people don't read very much. And those that do, prefer fantasy. scoemce fiction and thrillers, not westerns. A few years ars ago, I was searching the web for illegal copies of my books when I ran across a blog with a critique of one of them by two twenty-ish girls. They didn't like it at all because it was too long and the plot was too difficuot for them to follow.

The two most common questions I''m being asked laterly are when will I finish The Trouble Shooter and will it be my last book.

And even though #94 is already the my third longest book, I don't expect to finish much earlier than Halloween. So, I apologize takingbg this long.

And while I'm not absolutely certain it will be the end of the line, there is a small chance I'll start another one after I edit and update all of the others.

Now I need to better get back to work.
